Kate Wright has over 20 years’ experience in HR as a generalist and as a specialist in Diversity and Inclusion, Organisational Development and Learning and Development. Her last in-house roles were as Head of the HR Business Partnering function at the Corporation of Lloyd’s and, prior to that, Employee Relations & Diversity Manager for Ernst & Young, UK. She also chaired the Diversity Steering Group for Lloyd’s of London for several years.
For the last 12 years Kate has been providing HR consultancy and coaching services to clients across a broad spectrum of industries, including Finance, IT, retail, design and professional services both in the UK and Jersey, CI. Along with her broad and deep HR knowledge, Kate has developed specialist expertise in cultural change, speaking regularly on the subject of Diversity and Inclusion in particular at business events and in the local media. She is a Non-Executive Board member for Alex Monroe, an international jewellery designer and retailer
Kate is a co-founder of The Diversity Network, a business networking group and specialist Diversity and Inclusion consultancy, with a not for profit ethos. The Diversity Network aims to actively facilitate change and progress in diversity and inclusion through championing innovative working practices that make a real difference to workers, business success and local communities.
She is also Vice-Chair of Women in Politics , a Trustee of the Jersey Community Relations Trust and a member of the IOD-Jersey D&I Sub-Committee.
